12''x24'' FAITH preceedes the miracle

This piece I created for myself. I made this as a reminder of a very important principal that I didnt want to fade.
A week after this I was struck with full body piralysis. After a month of weekly Dr visits to no avail and denied MRIs & CAT scans. I was diagnosed with Bi-lateral Bels Palsy.

I looked at this sign many times a day as I went through treatmen. It took 20 months for my body to recover, in Oct. 2009. I was healed.

We may not have it all together

Family is complicated. A little humor can safely address the unity and diversity.

God Blesses this Kitchen

I have this mounted above my range and under my microwave. The last place on earth to be cleaned by anyone but Mom. And the most used place in the kitchen.

24''x24'' Priesthood Power

The Priesthood has the Power to move mountains. This was a fun one to create for Craig Cardon, Seans BFF from HS. Craigs Father, President Cardon had recited a story of Craig as a young boy wanting his Dad to move the San Tan Mountains. It was an endearing story. Craig takes life in strides so I thought this would a perfect way to recognize his child like faith.

I am a woman so of course I made two. I hung 'My' favorite one on the wall for a few weeks while I waited for Craig to pick up his surprise gift. The day Craig came... I switched pieces. I love my switch. As fortune would have it. President Cardon was in town for a day and half and was able to see the piece I made for Craig and his wife Amii.

The piece has become a lesson tool for our young sons. Our oldest son Parker asked if Dad could move mountains. I looked at him in a surprised manner.... 'of course HE can!! Sean!!!!! COme Here! ( moments pass, Sean arrives) Sean says " Yeah, Hun, whats up?" I said, "Hey Hun, Parker wants to know if you cna move mountains because you have the preisthood power... ( Sean is looking for a rescue from the conversation) I told him 'Definately!!!!' Sean move that mountain. So Sean moves the big bonkin picture. Parker grins. Thats not what I meant.

Parker , I know what you meant.
IF Heavenly Father wanted Dad to move the San Tan mountains he could, just as easily as he moved the picture."
Then Sean adds " but If I dont put it back right Mom will get mad"

Parker grins and walks off. Satisfied with the nuttyness of his parents.

Learning opportunities are everywhere...
